Morgan’s Story

My name is Morgan, and I’m the founder of Harbor Integrative Wellness. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, I spent years working in critical care, where every moment mattered and every detail counted. Critical care taught me to look deeper, to keep searching until the real issue was uncovered, and to never settle for surface-level answers. That environment shaped the way I think and the way I practice. Even now, I carry that same determination to find the root cause of what my patients are experiencing instead of simply masking symptoms or rushing through their concerns.

I also have spent part of my career in hospice, caring for patients and families during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Hospice humbled me. It slowed me down. It taught me the importance of presence, patience, and truly listening. It reminded me that people deserve time, connection, clarity, and compassion. Those experiences deeply influenced how I approach care today. I never want someone to feel dismissed, hurried, or unseen.

My faith plays a meaningful role in how I view people and their health. I believe we are fearfully and wonderfully made, just as Psalm 139:14 beautifully reminds us. Our bodies are designed with incredible wisdom and purpose. In a world filled with shame, guilt, comparison, and self-sabotage, I want my patients to remember that they were created with intention. You are not broken. You are not a collection of failures or flaws. There is always hope for healing and restoration.

My background in critical care, hospice, long-term care, and complex medical settings taught me that health is not just physical. It is emotional, spiritual, and deeply personal. These experiences pushed me into integrative and metabolic medicine, where I can combine medical training with a more complete understanding of hormones, metabolism, inflammation, stress, and lifestyle. I want to understand your story, your symptoms, your goals, and the deeper patterns behind them so we can create a plan that truly supports your wellbeing.

I built Harbor to be an approachable, calming, and compassionate space. A place where you can take a breath. A place where you can be honest without judgment. A place where you can talk openly about what you’re going through and feel encouraged, supported, and understood. Whether we are focusing on weight loss, metabolic balance, hormone health, or overall wellness, I want you to feel safe and grounded. Harbor represents that sense of refuge and clarity. It is a place to land, reflect, and move forward with confidence, hope, and a renewed sense of possibility.

Philosophy & Approach

My approach to care is simple, supportive, and centered around you as a whole person. I believe healthcare works best when it feels human and steady, not rushed or complicated. I take time to understand your symptoms, your story, and your goals so we can build a plan that makes sense for your life. Every recommendation is tailored, thoughtful, and grounded in both medical knowledge and an integrative perspective.

I see your health journey as something we navigate together. You bring your experiences, challenges, and hopes, and I bring guidance, clarity, and evidence-based options. We move forward at a pace that feels comfortable to you, making adjustments as your needs change. There is no pressure to be perfect and no expectation to do everything at once. The goal is progress that feels realistic, sustainable, and supportive.

Harbor reflects the idea of having a steady, reliable place to regroup and find direction before moving forward again. That is how I want this practice to feel. My role is to provide a calm and grounded approach to your care, offering clear explanations, manageable steps, and ongoing support. Whether we are focusing on weight loss, metabolic balance, hormone health, or overall wellness, I want you to feel that you have a trusted place to land, gather yourself, and continue on with confidence.

Your care should feel approachable and empowering. My hope is that each visit leaves you feeling lighter, more informed, and more in control of your health. This philosophy guides everything I do at Harbor.

Mission & Values

I created Harbor Integrative Wellness because I wanted a space that feels steady, calming, and supportive in the same way an actual harbor offers shelter and reassurance. My mission is to provide care that feels personal and grounded, where you feel genuinely listened to and understood. I want you to experience healthcare that is compassionate, clear, and centered around what you need as an individual. By blending medical care with an integrative perspective, my goal is to help you make meaningful, long-lasting changes that feel achievable and supportive rather than overwhelming. Harbor reflects the idea that your health journey deserves a safe and reliable place to land.

Safe Place

The name Harbor was chosen intentionally. A harbor is a place of calm, protection, and steady grounding, and that is exactly what I want this space to feel like for you. My goal is for Harbor to be the place you come when you need clarity, understanding, and a quiet break from the noise of the healthcare system. You never have to worry about judgment or pressure here. You can share openly, ask questions freely, and show up exactly as you are. When you feel safe, supported, and understood, real progress becomes possible. Harbor represents that sense of refuge, and I want you to feel it every time we work together.

Trust

Trust develops through clear communication, steady follow-through, and knowing your concerns are taken seriously. I want you to understand each part of your care and to feel confident that we are making decisions together. I want your care to feel steady and reliable. You will always know why something is being recommended and what your options are. My role is to guide you with honesty, consistency, and transparency so you never feel confused or left guessing. Trust is something we build together, and it grows through clear communication and genuine partnership.

Empathy

Empathy guides everything I do. I want this to be a place where your story is heard and your experiences are respected. Your challenges, frustrations, and goals all matter, and they shape the direction of your care. I approach every visit with compassion and curiosity so you feel understood as a whole person, not just a diagnosis or a set of numbers. My hope is that you always leave feeling supported and encouraged, the same way you might feel stepping onto steady ground after navigating something difficult. That sense of grounding is what Harbor represents.
